My name is Isabella Aden, and I am the owner of a unit in Tower 1 , Southport Central Residential. Now retired after many years working in education, my background has given me strong skills in communication, listening, research and making complex information easier to understand.
My interest in strata began soon after buying my apartment at Southport Central. I wanted to understand how decisions affecting our homes, levies and shared property were being made. Over time, that interest grew into considerable knowledge of body corporate matters through reading legislation, meeting papers, financial information and body corporate records.
Owners deserve openness, proper consultation and clear answers. Questions need to be asked when things are unclear, particularly when decisions affect owners, their homes and their levy money.
My priorities are proper maintenance, responsible use of owners’ levy money, protecting the long-term value of our properties and maintaining the liveability of Southport Central Residential. Gardens and green spaces are also a particular passion, and I believe they contribute greatly to the quality and appeal of where we live. If elected, my focus will be on asking the questions that need to be asked, seeking clear answers, supporting sensible decisions and speaking up when owners’ interests are not being properly considered.
